Freedom of Choice

Given an opportunity most of us will admit to having done things that we wish we hadn't. Life is full of unwise choices. But unfortunately it also usually it's not always possible to undo bad choices either.

Instead, we often find that every choice has a consequence and every action a reaction. As a result, most of us go through life with regrets that hinder our ability to establish good relationships with others.

According to God's Word, The Bible, this problem first began many years ago with a couple named Adam and Eve. At the beginning of their story, Adam and Eve lived in a perfect world. None of the problems that we face, on a daily basis, existed.

Adam and Eve enjoyed perfect fellowship with each other, and more importantly they were in perfect fellowship with their Creator - God.

However, since God's greatest desire was for Adam and Eve to have a love based relationship with Him, He created them with "The Ability to Choose".

Unfortunately and even though the lived in a perfect world, Adam and Eve did not use this awesome God given gift wisely. Instead, they made a choice that resulted in horrible consequences that continue to affect every man, woman and child that has ever been born.

This was not God's choice - nor was it His will. Because of His love, He knew that He would have to do something to redeem His creation from the curse Adam and Eve's choice began.

As a result, He ordained that His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, would take upon Himself the form of a man for no other reason but to become the ultimate sacrifice to atone for Adam and Eve's - and ultimately their offspring's shortcomings and sin. It was only through this manner that the curse Adam and Eve's choice released on planet earth could be broken thereby allowing fellowship between God and man to be restored.

In other words, through the sacrifice of God's Son, Adam and Eve were able to experience restored fellowship. Because of God's Love they were forgiven.

Because you are one of Adam and Eve's descendants, you too are born with the the God given gift called "The Freedom of Choice".

Unfortunately, like them and the rest of us who dwell on planet earth, you don't always use your freedom wisely either.

Instead, just like the rest of us, you have made decisions that resulted in the curse being activated in your own personal life and in the lives of your own descendants too.

The Good News is that God grants you the very same opportunity that He first gave to Adam and Eve and also to the rest of mankind. Each of us can find forgiveness because of the death of His Son, Jesus.

This web site is dedicated to helping others learn more about how God's unfailing love enables each one of us to be forgiven for our wrong choices.

"For God demonstrates His Own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.And to as many as receive Him, to them God gives the right to become children of God." Romans 5:8 and John 1:12
